HomeMy WebLinkAbout91-1-456575 V ORDINANCE NO. 91-1-4565 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED BETWEEN BLEICH ROAD AND RIDGEVIEW STREET, WEST OF ELMDALE ROAD, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on December 3, 1990, entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED BETWEEN BLEICH ROAD AND RIDGEVIEW STREET, WEST OF ELMDALE ROAD", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification and the map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agreement with the comprehen- sive plan of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-2, Low/Medium Density Residential Zone, to R-4, High Density Residential Zone: Beginning where the northerly right-of-way line of Bleich Road intersects the center line of Elmdale Road; thence along and with said northerly right-of-way line and extension thereof, 1,198.74 feet to the southeast corner of a lot presently owned by Wayne Hicks, et al, thence along and with the easterly line of said Wayne Hicks property and a projection thereof, 581.90 feet to the center line of a 50 foot wide street unofficially known as Ridgeview Street; thence along and with said center line of said street, 1,192.61 feet to the center line of the aforesaid Elmdale Road; thence along and with said center line of Elmdale Road, 50 feet east of the westerly right-of-way line thereof, 581.47 feet to the point and place of beginning. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inopera- tive, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. r1 SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof. GERRY B.
