ORDINANCE NO. 91-01-4563
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 90-7-4471,
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF POLYMERS FROM ALLIED COLLOIDS
INC. AND BETZ INDUSTRIAL, FOR USE AT THE WASTEWATER
TREATMENT PLANT
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah authorized the
purchase of polymers from Allied Colloids Inc. and Betz
Industrial by Ordinance No. 90-7-4471, adopted on July 24,
1990; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 90-7-4471 was amended on
October 23, 1990; and
WHEREAS, it is again necessary to amend this
ordinance to include an additional purchase.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. Section 1 is hereby amended to read as
f of lows :
"The City Treasurer is hereby authorized to pay
the sum of $1.60
per pound for polymer no. 767, and $1.65 ,y
per pound for polymer no. 778 to Allied Colloids Inc., and
fO� $Z17� 2.90 per pound for polymer no. 2198 from Betz
Industrial for the purchase of polymers for use at the
wastewater treatment plant."
SECTION 2. Account No. 16-500-410-312 shall be
charged with the aforesaid expenditure.
SECTION 3. This ordinance will be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
