ORDINANCE NO. 91-5-4613
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN INTERLOCAL COOPERATION
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND THE COUNTY OF
McCRACKEN, KENTUCKY, FOR 911 EMERGENCY COMMUNICATION
SERVICE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAME
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 91-4-4596, the City of
Paducah did approve an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement?
between the City of Paducah and the County of McCracken,
Kentucky, for 911 Emergency Communications Service, and did
authorize the Mayor to execute same; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Interlocal
Cooperation Agreement as executed by the Mayor, the County
did desire to make several amendments to same, and did
thereafter execute the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement with
such amendments, and did tender the same back to the City for
the City's approval and execution; and
WHEREAS, the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement as
amended by the County is acceptable to the City, and the
City does now desire to approve said Interlocal Cooperation
Agreement as amended by the County and does desire to
authorize the Mayor to execute same.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby approves
the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between the City of
Paducah and McCracken County for 911 Emergency Communication
Service, as amended by the County of McCracken, and does
hereby authorize the Mayor to execute same. This Agreement
is attached hereto and incorporated by reference as if fully
set out herein.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
