ORDINANCE NO. 91-5-4608
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF AN ALLEY
LOCATED WEST OF WALTER JETTON BOULEVARD BETWEEN KENTUCKY
AVENUE AND WASHINGTON STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah does hereby
authorize the closing of an alley located west of Walter
Jetton Boulevard between Kentucky Avenue and Washington
Street, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the southerly property
line of Randy's Body Shop, Inc., and a 21.5 foot
alley, being approximately 95 feet from the.
right-of-way line of Walter Jetton Blvd., thence
in a westerly direction a distance of 236.50 feet
to a point where said alley was closed by
Ordinance No. 80-2-1869; thence in a northerly
direction a distance of 21.5 feet to a point in
said alley; thence in an easterly direction a
distance of 236.50 feet to a point, said point
being the corner of the southwest property line of
C.A. Wahl; thence in a southerly direction a
distance of 21.5 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. The Corporation Counsel of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, is hereby authorized, empowered and
directed to institute and prosecute, pursuant to KRS 82.405,
an action in the McCracken Circuit Court for a judgment
ordering the closing of the alley described in Section 1
above.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
