ORDINANCE NO. 91-4-4604
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 4 IN THE AMOUNT OF $58,970.22
WITH EVANSVILLE CEMENT FINISHERS FOR RENOVATION AND
EXPANSION OF SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT
' WHEREAS, the City entered into a contract with
Evansville Cement Finishers Inc. for renovation and
expansion of the sewage treatment plant; and
WHEREAS, Change Orders No. 1 and 2 in the amounts
of $28,333.00 and $37,444.66 respectively were approved by
Ordinance No. 89-10-4330 on October 24, 1989; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 3 in the amount of
$126,400.00 was approved by Ordinance No. 90-1-4364 on
January 9, 1990; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 4 is required for
miscellaneous additions which will increase the contract
amount.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to enter into Change Order No. 4 in the amount of
$58,970.22 with Evansville Cement Finishers Inc. for miscel-
laneous additions to the sewage treatment plant. This
Change Order is attached hereto and incorporated herein as
if set out in full.
SECTION 2. The amount of the contract with
Evansville Cement Finishers is amended to $1,718,481.88.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
