ORDINANCE NO. 91-11-4696
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KIWANIS CLUB OF
SOUTH PADUCAH IN THE AMOUNT OF $35,000.00 FOR THE PURCHASE OF
REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH LOCATED AT 1640
SOUTH SIXTH STREET
WHEREAS, the City does not have any use at this time
or in the future for said property, which constitutes surplus
real estate; and
WHEREAS, this property has been appraised by an
independent appraiser for $34,750.00.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The sale to Kiwanis Club of South Paducah
of real property located at 1640 South Sixth Street is hereby
approved for the sum of $35,000.00.
SECTION 2. The Corporation Counsel is hereby
authorized to prepare a deed for the above-described real
property, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a deed
and any other documents necessary for the sale of said
property.
SECTION 3. This ordinance will be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
