ORDINANCE NO. 91-10-4689
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO
AN ENCROACHMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY, AND WRIGHT BUSINESS, INC. FOR ENCROACHMENTS UPON
CITY RIGHT-OF-WAY
WHEREAS, Wright Business Inc. is the owner of
certain real property located at 601 Broadway and 529
Broadway; and
WHEREAS, Wright Business Inc. has requested from
the City of Paducah permission to use a portion of City
right-of-way for locating a telephone cable line on, across
and under the real property of the City, which encroachment
is insignificant in nature.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be authorized to enter
into an Encroachment Agreement with Wright Business Inc.
for the construction of a telephone cable line on, across
and under City right-of-way on, across and under that
portion of Sixth Street located between Broadway and
Jefferson Street from the rear of 601 Broadway to the rear
of 529 Broadway.
SECTION 2. Said Agreement is attached hereto and
incorporated by reference as if fully set out herein.
SECTION 3. In order not to delay completion of
this project, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and
this ordinance shall become effective immediately with one
reading.
