AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF A & K CONSTRUCTION
COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF $106,500.00, PLUS OPTIONS IN THE
AMOUNTS OF $3,200.00 AND $2,500.00, FOR 911 RENOVATIONS AT CITY
HALL ANNEX, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR
SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of
A & K Construction Company in the amount of $106,500.00, plus
options in the amounts of $3,200.00 and $2,500.00, for 911
renovations at the City Hall Annex, said bid being in
substantial compliance with the bid specifications and
advertisement for bids, and as contained in the bid of A & K
Construction Company of October 24, 1991.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
a contract with A & K Construction Company for 911 renovations
at City Hall Annex, according to the specifications, bid
proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 01-88-27-483.
SECTION 4. In order to complete construction before
the onset of adverse weather conditions, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance will become effective
immediately with one reading.
