ORDINANCE NO. 91-6-4624
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY,
DEPARTMENT FOR LIBRARIES AND ARCHIVES, FOR A LOCAL RECORDS
GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,001.00 \
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah applied for and V
received a Local Records Grant in the Amount of $5,001.11
for preservation of public records; and
WHEREAS, this grant has been awarded to the City
and final documents must be executed in order to receive
grant funds.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute an Agreement with the Commonwealth of
Kentucky, Department for Libraries and Archives, for a Local
Records Grant in the amount of $5,001.00. This Agreement is
attached hereto and incorporated by reference as if fully
set out herein.
SECTION 2. In order to complay with State
deadlines to execute this document before June 30, 1991, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance
will become effective immediately with one reading.
