ORDINANCE NO. 91-8-4665
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF W.R. COLES AND
ASSOCIATES TO PROVIDE ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING SERVICES TO THE
CITY OF PADUCAH FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE RIVER HERITAGE
CENTER, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR
SAME
/T BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the proposal
of W.R. Coles and Associates to provide architectural/ -
engineering services for the development of the River Heritage
Center, to be administered by the City of Paducah through a
$50,000.00 grant from the Commonwealth of Kentucky and a
$50,000.00 grant from the Tennessee Valley Authority, and any
future funding for the restoration of the Center.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
a contract with W.R. Coles and Associates for architectural/ -
engineering services for the development of the River Heritage
Center as contained in Section 1 above. This contract is
attached hereto and incorporated by reference as if fully set
out herein.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 01-88-23-299.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
