AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 32.82 OF CHAPTER 321
WATER AND SEWERS, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Sec. 32-82, Rates established for
premises inside city limits, is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"Rates and charges for use of the service and
facilities of the municipal sewer system for premises inside
the corporate limits of the city, as such limits presently
exist and as the same may be extended from time to time in
the future, shall be at the rate of

six dollars and ninety cents ($6.90) per month for the first
five thousand (5,000) gallons or less of water consumption,
and at the rate of one dollar and thirty-eight cents ($1.38)
per one thousand gallons of water used in excess of five
thousand (5,000) gallons."
SECTION 2. These increases shall become effective
with bills rendered on or subsequent to September 1, 1991.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication
pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
