ORDINANCE NO. 91-8-4655
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 90-7-4471,
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF POLYMERS FROM ALLIED COLLOIDS
INC. AND BETZ INDUSTRIAL, FOR USE AT THE WASTEWATER
\° TREATMENT PLANT
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah authorized the ; rt
purchase of polymers from Allied Colloids Inc. and Betz
Industrial by Ordinance No. 90-7-4471, adopted on July 24,
1990; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 90-7-4471 was amended on
October 23, 1990, and January 8, 1991; and
WHEREAS, it is again necessary to amend this
ordinance to include additional purchases and change vendor.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. Section 1 is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"The City Treasurer is hereby authorized to pay
the sum of $1.60 per pound for polymer no. 767, and $1.65
per pound for polymer no. 778 to Allied Colloids Inc., and
$x/00 1.64 per pound for polymer no. jX0 7194 and $1.55 per
pound for polymer no. 7192 fromS¢¢/uix Nalco
Chemical Company for the purchase of polymers for use at the
wastewater treatment plant."
SECTION 2. Section 2 is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"Account No. XOf%00f410f7X2 55-33-03-354 shall be
charged with the aforesaid expenditure."
SECTION 3. This ordinance will be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
