AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WAHL'S
EXCAVATING AND UNDERGROUND FOR RENTAL OF VARIOUS EQUIPMENT,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of
Wahl's Excavating and Underground for rental of the
following equipment, at the following per hour prices:
Tractor Scraper $95.00
Dump Truck Tandem 40.00
Excavator 70.00
Backhoe 42.50
Track Loader 54.00
Motor Grader 60.00
Pneumatic Roller 42.50
Dozer 45.00
Dozer (Large) 72.50
Said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications and advertisement for bids, and as contained
in the bid of Wahl's Excavating and Underground of July 9,
1991.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with Asphalt Paving, Inc. for rental of
the equipment listed above, according to the specifications,
bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved
and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3.
The purchase price for said rental
equipment shall be charged to the following Accounts:
Sewer Depreciation & Extension: 55-33-05-415;
Floodwall: 01-33-08-278;
Sewer Collection: 55-33-02-278;
Parks: 01-24-02-278.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
