AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN AGREEMENT OF ACQUISITION BETWEEN
THE LONE OAK WATER DISTRICT AND PADUCAH WATER WORKS AND AUTHORIZING THE
CHAIRMAN OF THE COMMISSIONERS OF WATER WORKS AND THE GENERAL MANAGER OF
PADUCAH WATER WORKS TO SIGN A DOCUMENT'PERTAINING TO SAID ACQUISITION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the Lone Oak Water
District indicated an interest in combining with Paducah Water Works;
and
WHEREAS, the Commissioners of the Lone Oak Water District and
Paducah Water Works have negotiated a suitable agreement and
adopted a Resolution to this effect.
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah approve an -Agreement of
Acquisition between the Lone Oak Water District and Paducah Water Works
to combine the Lone Oak Water District with Paducah Water Works.
SECTION 2. This Resolution is attached hereto and incor-
porated by reference herein as if set out in full.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days
and will become effective upon publication in full.
