AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT
WITH THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY, NATURAL RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENTAL
PROTECTION CABINET
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah operates a residential landfill,
Permit #073.11; and
WHEREAS, the permit expired on January 23, 1988; and
WHEREAS, McCracken County has submitted a permit application
which has not yet been approved;
WHEREAS, the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection
Cabinet has submitted an Agreed Order as a condition on the renewal of
the permit of the City of Paducah.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an
agreement with the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Natural Resources and
Environmental Protection Cabinet.
SECTION 2. This agreement is attached hereto and incor-
porated by reference as if fully set out herein.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days
and will become effective upon publication of title and a certified
summary thereof.
