ORDINANCE NO. 88-3-4023
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PADUCAH FORD INC. IN THE
AMOUNT OF $12,168.00, FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE 1988 4 -DOOR CROWN
VICTORIA, FOR -.USE BY,THE MAYOR, AND.,AUTHORIZING.THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT:0RDAINED_BY THE CITY OF:PADUCAH KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of
Paducah Ford Inc. in the amount..of.$12,168.00.3for the purchase of one
1988 4 -Door Ford Crown Victoria to be used by the Mayor, said bid being
in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement
for bids as was authorized by a Municipal Order passed by"the Board of
Commissioners on January 26, 1988, and as contained in the -bid of
Paducah Ford Inc., dated February 16, 1988 .
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a
contract with Paducah Ford Inc. for sale to the City of one 1988 Ford:
Crown Victoria automobile for the Mayor, authorized in Section 1 above,
according to the specifications; bid proprosal and all contract docu-
ments heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. i
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said automobile shall be
charged to Account No. 10-500-150-494.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days
and will become effective upon publication of title and a certified
summary thereof.
