ORDINANCE NO. 88-3-4022
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TELEPHONE EQUIPMENT
FOR THE CITY OF.PADUCAH IN THE AMOUNT OF $8,397.08 FROM AT&T COMPANY.
WHEREAS, this purchase is being made as a nota -competitive

negotiation under Section 261=61 of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Paducah; and
.WHEREAS, this equipment is currently in use and replacement
would be disruptive to essential emergency services.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be authorized to enter into a
contract with AT&T Co. for the purchase of all existing telephone
a
equipment, except for approximately 148 telephone sets, leased to the
City of Paducah by AT&T Co. and the City Treasurer be authorized to pay
to AT&T Co., the sum of $8,397.08 for said equipment.
SECTION 2. That Account.No. 10-500-150-523 and 10-500-220-
-523 shall be charged with the aforesaid expenditure.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate
days and will become effective upon publication of title and a certi-
fied summary thereof. a
