AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PADUCAH FORD, INC. IN THE
AMOUNT OF $9,195.00, FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE 1988 TRACTOR FOR USE
BY THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of
Paducah Ford, Inc. in the amount of $9,195.00 for the purchase of one
1988 tractor to be used by the Parks Department, said bid being in
substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement
for bids as .was authorized by a Municipal Order passed by the Board of
Commissioners on November 10, 1987, and as contained in the bid of
Paducah Ford, Inc., dated December 28, 1987.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a
contract with Paducah Ford, Inc. for sale to the City of one 1988
tractor for the Parks Department, authorized in Section l above,
according to the specifications, bid proprosal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said tractor shall be
charged to Account No. 10-500-610-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days
and will become effective upon publication of title and a certified
summary thereof.
