IN THE AMOUNT OF $61,719.45, FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF FIVE NEW 1988 CHEVROLET CAPRICE AUTOMOBILES, FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: rr SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac „ Inc. in the amount of $61,719.45 for the purchase of five new 1988 Chevrolet Caprice automobiles to be used by the Police Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by a Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on November 10, 1987, and as contained in the bid of Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc., dated December 15, 1987. SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. for sale to the City of five 1988 Chevrolet Caprice Automobiles for the Police Department, authorized in Section l.above, according to the specifications, bid >� proprosal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. The purchase price for said automobiles shall be charged to KML Lease Pool Capital Funding Project. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof. ORDVI GERRY B.
