ORDINANCE NO. 89-5-4244
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO PAY
THE SUM OF $2,760.00 TO MORRISON CONTRACTORS FOR DIRT FOR
THE PADUCAH-McCRACKEN COUNTY LANDFILL
WHEREAS the City an has agreement with the

Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Cabinet,
Commonwealth of Kentucky, for providing daily cover for the \1
landfill; and
WHEREAS, the City was unable to obtain an adequate
supply of dry dirt from its current on-site supplies.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Treasurer is authorized
to pay the sum of $2,760.00 to Morrison Contractors for dirt
purchased to cover the landfill.
SECTION 2. This purchase shall be charged to
Account No. 10-500-425-710.
SECTION 3. In order to avoid the payment of late
charges, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance shall become effective immediately with one
reading.
