ORDINANCE NO. 89-5-4238
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF J.R. SULLIVAN'S
CO., INC.. IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,158.00 FOR TWO NEW 1989 YAZOO
RIDING MOWERS, FOR SALE TO THE CITY FOR USE BY THE PARKS
DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the
bid of J.R. Sullivan/s Co., Inc. in the amount of $10,158.00
for two new Yazoo riding mowers, for sale to the City for
use by the Parks Department, said bid being in substantial
compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for
bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed by the
Board of Commissioners on April 11, 1989, and as contained
in the bid of J.R. Sullivan's Co., Inc. of April 19, 1989.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is authorized to
execute a contract with J.R. Sullivan's Co., Inc. for the
1) purchase of two new 1989 Yazoo riding mowers, authorized in
Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid
proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3.
This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 10-500-610-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
