ORDINANCE NO. 89-12-4349
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF DOMTAR INDUS-
TRIES,. INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $30.00 PER TON FOR APPROXI-
MATELY 1,000 TONS OF ROCK SALT, FOR SALE TO THE CITY, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO `.EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PUR-
CHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the
bid of Domtar Industries, Inc. in the amount of $30.00 per
ton for approximately 1,000 tons of rock,salt, said bid
being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications
and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal
Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on September 27,
1988, and as contained in the of Domtar Industries, Inc. of
October 11, 1988.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to exe-
cute a contract with Domtar Industries, Inc. for sale to the
City of approximately 1,000 tons of rock salt at $30.00 per
ton, authorized in Section 1 above, according to the speci-
fications, bid proposal and all contract documents hereto-
fore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This purchase shall be charged to
Account No. 10-500-330-312.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
