ORDINANCE NO. 89-11-4336
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PADUCAH FORD,
INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $94,857.00 FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF
SEVEN -NEW 1990 CROWN VICTORIA S FOUR DOOR AUTOMOBILES,
FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR 1.
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the
bid of Paducah Ford, Inc. in the amount of $94,857.00 for
sale to the City of seven new 1990 Crown Victoria
automobiles for use by the Police Department, said bid being
in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and
advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order
passed by the Board of Commissioners on September 12, 1989,
and as contained in the bid of Paducah Ford, Inc. of October
17, 1989.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to
execute a contract with Paducah Ford, Inc. for the purchase j
of seven new automobiles, authorized in Section 1 above,
according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in
the bid.
SECTION 3. This purchase shall be charged to
Account Number 10-500-210-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
