ORDINANCE NO. 89-6-4254
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 3 IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,450.00
WITH WESTEND GARDEN CENTER FOR LANDFILL SEEDING
WHEREAS, the City entered into a contract with
Westend Garden Center for seeding the landfill; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1, decreasing the
original contract price by $5,000.00, was approved on
October 25, 1988; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 was approved on March
31, 1989; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 3 is required in order
to pay for additional materials and services to complete
seeding operations during the spring of 1989.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to enter into Change Order No. 3 in the amount of
$2,450.00 with Westend Garden Center in order to pay for
additional materials and services to complete landfill
seeding operations in the spring of 1989.. This Change
Order is attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set
out in full.
SECTION 2. The amount of the contract with
Westend Garden Center is amended to $37,082.00.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
