ORDINANCE NO. 89-7-4284
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
PADUCAH AND SWIFT & STALEY MECHANICAL CONTRACTORS FOR CITY
HALL HVAC SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah entered into a
contract with Swift & Staley Mechanical Contractors for
replacement of City Hall HVAC system by Ordinance No.
89=1-4186, dated January 24, 1989; and
WHEREAS, Change Orders 1 and 2 were authorized.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The contract with Swift and Staley
Mechanical Contractors for City Hall HVAC system shall be
amended from $418,730.00 to $422,104.00.
SECTION 2. The changes as authorized in the
contract documents. according to the specifications, bid.
proposals, contract documents and change orders heretofore
approved shall not exceed the amended amounts contained in
Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. The expenditures for said improvements
shall be charged to the KML Lease Pool Account, or accounts
assigned at the discretion of the City Manager.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
