ORDINANCE NO. 89-7-4275
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO PAY
\" MORRISON CONTRACTORS THE SUM OF $1,905.00 FOR DIRT FOR THE
PADUCAH-McCRACKEN COUNTY LANDFILL
WHEREAS, the City has an agreement with the
Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Cabinet,
Commonwealth of Kentucky, for providing daily cover for the
landfill; and
WHEREAS, the City was unable to obtain an adequate
supply of dry dirt from its current on-site supplies.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Treasurer is authorized
to pay to Morrison Contractors the sum of $1,905.00 for dirt
purchased to cover the landfill.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 10-500-425-710.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two C�'
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
