ORDINANCE NO. 89-9-4302
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO PAY
THE SUM OF $12,000.00 TO WESTEND FOR MISCELLANEOUS REPAIR \1-1
EXPENSES FOR THE PADUCAH-McCRACKEN COUNTY LANDFILL
WHEREAS, the landfill has required additional
repairs as a result of a Notice of Violation dated July 12,
1989, by the Kentucky Division of Solid Waste.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Treasurer is authorized
to pay the sum of $12,000.00 to Westend for miscellaneous
repairs to the landfill.
SECTION 2. This purchase shall be charged to
Account No. 10-500-425-710.
SECTION 3. In order to avoid the payment of late
charges, an emergency is hereby declared, to exist and this
ordinance shall become effective immediately with one
j reading.
