ORDINANCE NO. 89-8-4299
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE NEW
TRIUMPH HYDRO -CLIPPER MOWER 8500 SERIES FROM PADUCAH FORD,
INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,345.00 INSTALLED, FOR USE BY THE
STREET DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SAME
WHEREAS, this purchase is being made as a non-
competitive negotiation under Section 26-21 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Paducah; and
WHEREAS, an emergency exists which may cause harm
as a result of the delay caused by formal competitive
procedures.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Treasurer is authorized
to pay to Paducah Ford, Inc. the sum of $5,345.00 for one
Triumph mower for use by the Street Department.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 10-500-330-514.
SECTION 3. Due to an urgent need for this
equipment, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance will become effective immediatley with one
reading.
