ORDINANCE NO. 89-8-4298
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWO NEW
HYDRAULIC DUMP UNITS WITH SWINGAWAY KITS FROM TOTER, INC. IN
THE AMOUNT OF $4,842.00 FOR USE BY THE REFUSE DEPARTMENT,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
WHEREAS, this purchase is being made as a non-
competitive negotiation under Section 26-21 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Paducah; and
WHEREAS, Toter Incorporated is the sole supplier
for the dump units which are compatible with the rollout
containers being used by the City.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Treasurer is authorized
to pay to Toter Incorporated the sum of $4,842.00 for two
dump units with swingaway kits for use by the Refuse
Department.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 10-500-420-514.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
