ORDINANCE NO. 89-8-4296
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WASTE CONCEPTS
FOR THE PURCHASE OF STANDARD FRONT END LOADING REFUSE
CONTAINERS, FOR SALE TO THE CITY FOR USE BY THE REFUSE
DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the
bid of Waste Concepts for the purchase of one year's supply
of standard front loading refuse containers at the following
prices:
2 -yd. containers $305.00 each (delivered)
4 -yd. containers $405.00 each
6 -yd. containers $515.00 each
8 -yd. containers $556.00 each "
said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized
by Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on
August 8, 1989, and as contained in the bid of Waste

Concepts of July 20, 1989.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to
execute a contract with Waste Concepts for the purchase of
refuse containers authorized in Section 1 above, according
to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 10-500-420-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
