ORDINANCE NO. 89-10-4330
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $28,333.00
AND CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 IN THE AMOUNT OF $37,444.66 WITH
EVANSVILE CEMENT FINISHERS, INC. FOR SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT
PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City entered into a contract with J)
Evansville Cement Finishers, Inc. for renovation and
expansion of the sewage treatment plant; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required for
miscellaneous deletions and substitutions which will
decrease the contract amount; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 is required for
miscellaneous additions which will increase the contract
amount.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to enter into Change Orders No. 1 and 2 with
Evansville Cement Finishers, Inc. as follows:
i. Change Order No. 1 for miscellaneous deletions
and substitutions which will decrease the contract amount by
$28,333.00
ii. Change Order No. 2 for miscellaneous additions
which will increase the contract amount by $37,444.66.
These Change Orders are attached hereto and incorporated
herein as if set out in full.
SECTION 2. The amount of the contract with
Evansville Cement Finishers, Inc. is, amended to
$1,533,111.66.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of.
