AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MUNICIPAL
EQUIPMENT INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $12,765.00 FOR THE PURCHASE
OF ONE NEW GIANT VAC MODEL TM -9800 LEAF LOADER, FOR SALE TO
1 THE CITY FOR USE BY THE STREET DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING

THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of
Municipal Equipment, Inc. in the amount of $12,765.00 for
the purchase of one new Giant Vac Model TM 9800 Leaf Loader
to be used by the Street Department, said bid being in
substantial compliance with the bid specifications and
advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order
passed by the Board of Commissioners on September 12, 1989,
and as contained in the bid of Municipal Equipment Inc. of
October 3, 1989.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is authorized to execute a
contract with Municipal Equipment Inc. for sale to the City
of one new leaf loader authorized in Section 1 above,
according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in
the bid.
SECTION 3.
This purchase shall be charged to
Account No. 10-500-330-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
