ORDINANCE NO. 89-3-4214
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO PAY
THE SUM OF $2,825.00 TO WAYNE RYAN
WHEREAS, Wayne Ryan worked for the City in the
Maintenance Department and made contributions to the Civil
Service Pension Plan between Januar 10, 1965 through Sep-
tember
tember 17, 1973; and
WHEREAS, the sum of $1,487.02 was withheld for
pension contributions from the pay of Wayne Ryan; and
WHEREAS, Wayne Ryan wishes to purchase past
service credit from the County Employees Retirement System.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City Treasurer is hereby autho-
rized to issue a check to Wayne Ryan in the amount of
$2,825.00, comprised of $1,487.02 as contributions to the
Civil Service Pension Fund, plus the sum of $1,338.00 in
interest.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 10-500-150-494.
SECTION 3. In order for Wayne Ryan to purchase
past service credits with the County Employees Retirement
System without undue delay, an emergency is hereby declared
to exist and this ordinance shall become effective with one
reading and immediately upon its adoption.
