HomeMy WebLinkAbout89-2-4200517 ORDINANCE NO. 89-2-4200 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT RENEWAL BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND CENTRAL PAVING COMPANY FOR VARIOUS EQUIPMENT RENTAL WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 88-2-4016, adopted by the City of Paducah on February 26, 1988, authorized the execution of a contract between the City of Paducah and Central Paving Company for a period of one (1) year; and WHEREAS, bid specifications contained a provision providing for the renewal of said contract for a period of one year; and 29, 1988. WHEREAS, this contract was executed on February BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the Mayor is authorized to execute a contract renewal for a period of one (1) year with Central Paving Company for rental (per hour) of the following equipment: Backhoe $35.00 Motor grader 39.25 Pneumatic roller 40.00 Track loader 45.50 Dump truck (single axle) 34.20 Dump truck (tandem axle) 34.20 Dozer 51.00 SECTION 2. The purchase price for said rental equipment shall be charged to Account Numbers 10-500-320-369 - Flood Construction; 10-500-330-354 - Street Paving & Construction; 10-500-34.0-354 - Street Paving; 10-500-610-525 - Expansion & Development, Parks Department; 10-500-420-215 - Refuse Rental of Equipment; 10-500-150-494 - Contingency Fund; 10-500-160-257 - Contract Repair Construction; 10-500-430-525 - Expansion & Development; 10-500-440-355 - Sanitary Sewers; 10-500-440-356 - Storm Sewers; 10-500-240-274 - Trees, Weeds & Debris; and the Sewer Depreciation and Extension Fund. 518 SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof. PERRY B.
