AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MANGRUM ROOFING
CO., INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $36,426.00 FOR RE -ROOFING JAYCEE
CIVIC CENTER, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the
bid of Mangrum Roofing Co., Inc. in the amount of $36,426.00
for re -roofing the Jaycee Civic Center, said bid being in
substantial compliance with the bid specifications and
advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order
passed by the Board of Commissioners on November 8, 1988,
and as contained in the bid of Mangrum Roofing Co., Inc. of
January 6, 1989.
SECTION 2.
That the Mayor be authorized to
execute a contract with Mangrum Roofing Co., Inc. for
re -roofing the Jaycee Civic Center, authorized in Section 1
above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in
the bid.
SECTION 3.
This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 10-500-610-525.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
