ORDINANCE NO. 92-8-4819
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE PADUCAH INDEPENDENT
SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF EDUCATION, AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO
CONTRIBUTE $10,000.00 TOWARD LIGHTING OF JETTON SOCCER FIELD,
AND OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
WHEREAS, the Board of Education is the owner of r"
certain facilities that are available for occasional use by
Paducah Parks; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Education has requested
financial assistance from the City of Paducah to install
lighting at the Jetton Soccer Field; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Education and the City of
Paducah desire to establish general terms for future use of
said facilities; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to enter into a written
agreement whereby the Board of Education grants the City
permission to use said facilities on an "as available" basis.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a Facility Use Agreement with the Paducah Independent
School District Board of Education, authorizing the City to
contribute $10,000.00 for lighting the Jetton Soccer Field, and
other considerations. This Agreement is attached hereto and
incorporated by reference as if set out in its entirety.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
