ORDINANCE NO. 92-7-4796
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO
AN ENCROACHMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY, AND JEAN'S, INC. FOR ENCROACHMENTS UPON CITY
RIGHT-OF-WAY
WHEREAS, Jean's, Inc. is the owner of certain
real property located at 420 Broadway; and
WHEREAS, Jean's, Inc. has requested from the City
of Paducah permission to use a portion of City right-of-way
for locating two poles on the sidewalk to support a canopy
extending from an awning, which encroachment is insignifi-
cant in nature.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to
enter into an Encroachment Agreement with Jean's, Inc. for
the location of two poles on the sidewalk in front of 420
Broadway, on City right-of-way.
SECTION 2. Said Agreement is attached hereto and
J incorporated by reference as if fully set out herein.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 4 4.
