AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ERB INDUSTRIAL
EQUIPMENT COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF $58,752.00 FOR THE PURCHASE
OF ONE JOHN DEERE 544E TOOL CARRIER FOR USE BY THE PUBLIC WORKS
DEPARTMENT AND THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL AND ENGINEERING
SERVICES (DEES), AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of
Erb Industrial Equipment Company in the amount of $58,752.00
for the purchase of one John Deere 544E tool carrier, said bid
being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications,
bid proposal, and as contained in the bid of Erb Industrial
Company dated June 5, 1992.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
a contract with Erb Industrial Equipment Company for the
equipment authorized in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged in the
following amounts to the following accounts:
01-22-02-434 - $ 8,752.00
50-22-12-434 - 30,000.00
55-33-02-434 - 20,000.00
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424
