AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PADUCAH FORD
INC. IN THE.AMOUNT OF $16,385.00 FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE
NEW 2WD FORD AEROSTAR XLT MINIVAN, FOR USE BY THE PARKS
DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of
Paducah Ford Inc. in the amount of $16,385.00 for sale to
the City of one new 2WD Ford Aerostar XLT Minivan for use by
the Parks Department, said bid being in substantial
compliance with bid specifications, and as contained in the
bid of Paducah Ford Inc. of April 17, 1992.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with Paducah Ford Inc. for the purchase
of one new minivan, authorized in Section 1 above, according
to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 01-24-02-458.
SECTION 4. In order to finalize this purchase
before April 30, 1992, an emergency is hereby declared to
exist and this ordinance shall become effective immediately
with one reading.
