AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
QUITCLAIM DEED FOR SALE OF REAL PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE FORMER
SITE OF THE PRIMROSE TREATMENT PLANT, OWNED BY THE CITY OF
PADUCAH
WHEREAS, the City does not have any use at this time
or in the future for said property, which constitutes surplus
real estate; and
WHEREAS, this property has been appraised at little
or no value to the City.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The sale to Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Allen
Wilkey of real property described as the former site of the
Primrose Treatment Plant is hereby approved for the sum of
One Dollar ($1.00).
SECTION 2. The Corporation Counsel is hereby
authorized to prepare a Quitclaim Deed for the above-described
real property, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
said deed and any other documents necessary for the sale of
said property.
SECTION 3. The City of Paducah shall retain a
sanitary sewer easement on this property.
SECTION 4. This ordinance will be read on two
Cseparate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter42
