HomeMy WebLinkAbout92-3-4734440 ORDINANCE NO. 92-3-4734 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 8-33 AND 8-36 OF CHAPTER 8, CEMETERIES, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. Sec. 8-33, Price of grave lots sold under single grave privilege, is hereby amended to read as follows: "All grave lots sold in Oak Grove Cemetery and additions thereto, including Rushing Addition, under what is known as the single grave privilege, the price thereof is hereby fixed at a minimum of f6�I/Hxlli¢��/XXXi�/a��XX�s� ,($1$01001 two hundred twenty-five dollars $225.00) per grave, with certain exceptions requiring higher and lower prices as follows: (a) In the West Kentucky Mausoleum Building: Crypts (top tier) $ 1,300.00 Crypts (second row from top) 1,400.00 Crypts (bottom 3 rows) 1,500.00 Alcoves (5 crypts) 10,000.00 Tombs (10 crypts) 15,000.00 (b) In the Mausoleum Addition: Price per grave 800100 375.00 (c) In Rushing Addition: (1) In the first row facing Rushing Street in Section 6 200100 250.00 (2) In the second row of Section 6 behind the foregoing lots facing Rushing Street 170100 225.00 (d) In Old Addition: All lots in Sections 6, 7, 18, 19 and 29, price per grave 17%100 275.00 (e) For the small size grave lots in certain sections for the burial of children 12 years of age and under, price per grave X00100 175.00 (f) All of the above grave prices include perpetual care." -7 1 i i-17 ,r i 1 1 7 ,:. rc ..— nT.p ..-.TT 111 , I I .. Sec. 8-36, Charge for opening and closing graves; other cemetery services; deposit, is hereby amended to read as follows: "The charge for opening and closing of graves, for the use of the receiving vault, and other cemetery services shall be as follows: GRAVE OPENING FEE Weekdays and after 1:00 p.m.. Sec. 8-36.1. Late charges for services concluding after 4:00 p.m. There will be a late charge of sixty dollars ($60.00) per hour for the first hour and forty dollars ($40.00) per hour for each hour thereafter for services concluding after 4:00 holidays. Sec. 8-36.2. No services on City recognized The City of Paducah will provide no services on City recognized holidays." SECTION 3. All cemetery charges will be re-evaluated on an annual basis. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424. GE Y B.
