AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
FRANCHISE AGREEMENT FOR OPERATION OF THE M/V JUBILEE I OR OTHER
EXCURSION CRAFT, AND TO EXECUTE A TVA BARGE SUBLEASE, BOTH
DOCUMENTS BEING BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND JESSE NEW OF
LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
a Franchise Agreement for operation of the M/V Jubilee I or
other excursion craft, and to execute a TVA Barge Sublease,
both documents being between the City of Paducah and Jesse New
of Louisville, Kentucky. Said documents are attached hereto
and incorporated by reference as if fully set out herein.
SECTION 2. To minimize any delay in operation of the
M/V Jubilee, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance will become effective immediately with one reading.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be published
pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
