AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF H & G CONSTRUCTION
COMPANY INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $826,072.00 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
INFORMATION AGE PARK SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of
H & G Construction Company Inc. in the amount of $826,072.00
for construction of Information Age Park sanitary sewer
extension, said bid being in substantial compliance with the
bid specifications, and as contained in the bid of H & G
Construction Company of August 20, 1992.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
a contract with H & G Construction Company Inc. for construc- ✓
tion of Information Age Park sanitary sewer extension, ac-
cording to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 55-33-05-470.
SECTION 4. In order to complete construction of
these sewers before the onset of inclement weather, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance will
\ become effective immediately with one reading.
