ORDINANCE NO. 92-12-4877
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR PROTEM TO EXECUTE
A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE KENTUCKY ARTS COUNCIL, IN AN
AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $14,110.00 FOR AN ARTS COORDINATOR SALARY
ASSISTANCE GRANT AND $9,300 IN CITY FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah has petitioned the
Kentucky Arts Council to obtain a grant to establish a position
of arts coordinator through which an official program of
community arts programming and coordination activities will be
implemented.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor Protem is authorized to execute
a Memorandum of Agreement with the Kentucky Arts Council in an
amount not to exceed $14,110.00 to obtain a grant for the
establishment of a position of arts coordinator, through which
an official program of community arts programming and
coordination activities will be implemented. This Memorandum
of Agreement is attached hereto and incorporated by reference
as if fully set out herein.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
- separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
