AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PADUCAH FORD, INC.
IN THE AMOUNT OF $22,948.00 FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF TWO FORD
RANGER XL PICKUP TRUCKS FOR DEES/ENGINEERING AND PARKS AND
LEISURE SERVICES/CEMETERY DIVISION, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
PROTEM TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
T' BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid
of Paducah Ford, Inc. in the amount of $22,948.00 for sale to
the city of two Ford Ranger XL Pickup Trucks for use by
DEES/Engineering and Parks and Leisure Services/Cemetery
Division, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications, and as contained in the bid of Paducah Ford,
Inc. of November 24, 1992.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor Protem is hereby
authorized to execute a contract with Paducah Ford, Inc. for
the purchase of two pickup trucks, according to the specifica-
tions, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore
approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be divided equally
between Account Nos. 01-33-07-440 and 01-24-04-440.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
r publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
