AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MCBRIDE MACK SALES
INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $237,448.00 FOR PURCHASE OF TWO NEW
MACK/NEIL FRONT LOADING REFUSE TRUCKS, FOR USE BY THE PUBLIC
WORKS DEPARTMENT, SOLID WASTE DIVISION, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid
of McBride Mack Sales Inc. in the amount of $237,448.00 for the
purchase of two Mack/Heil Front Loading Refuse Trucks, for use
by the Public Works Department, Solid Waste Division, said bid
being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and
advertisement for bids, and as contained in the bids of
McBride Mack Sales Inc. of November 4, 1992.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
a contract with McBride Mack Sales Inc. for the purchase of two
vehicles as set out in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 50-22-10-442.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
