AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,748.00
WITH RAY BLACK & SON, INC., FOR THE PRESERVATION AND
RENOVATION OF THE MARKET HOUSE AND RIVER DISCOVERY CENTER

�W WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 2012-12-8003 to enter
into a contract with Ray Black & Son, Inc., in the amount of $215,927.00 for the
preservation and renovation of the Market House and River Discovery Center; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required for an increase in the
amount of $3,748.00 for additional glass replacement and replacement of gable ends
on the Market House to finalize the project for the above referenced contract,
increasing the total contract price to $219,675.00.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute
Change Order No. 1 for an increase in the amount of $3,748.00 with Ray Black &
Son, Inc. for additional repairs to the Market House to finalize the project, increasing
the total cost to $219,675.00.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
