AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF RAY BLACK &
SON, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $22,413.00 FOR REPAIRS AND PAINTING
OF MARKET HOUSE BUILDING, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the proposal
of Ray Black & Son, Inc. in the amount of $22,413.00 for
repairs and painting of Market House Building.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
a contract with Ray Black & Son, Inc. for the repairs, as set
out in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid
proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the proposal.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 01-22-06-415.
SECTION 4. In order to complete this project
before the onset of inclement weather, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance will become effective
immediately with one reading.
