AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDERS NO. 1 THROUGH 10 IN THE TOTAL
AMOUNT OF $43,829.00 WITH CHESTER POOL SYSTEMS INC. FOR
RENOVATION AND REPLACEMENT OF NOBLE PARK POOL
WHEREAS, the City entered into a contract with
Chester Pool Systems Inc. for renovation and replacement of
Noble Park Pool; and
WHEREAS, Change Orders No. 1 through 10 in the
total amount of $43,829.00 are required for various
additions and changes during construction of the pool.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute Change Orders No. 1 through 10 in the
total amount of $43,829.00 with Chester Pool Systems Inc.
for renovation and replacement of Noble Park pool.
SECTION 2. The amount of the contract with
Joe Howard Construction Company is amended to $152,549.00.
SECTION 3.
This expenditure shall be charged to
the KLC Bond Loan Account.
SECTION 3. Due to a delay in processing this
account, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance will become effective immediately with one
- reading.
