AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 88-10-4136,
SETTING THE SEWER SERVICE CHARGES FOR SANITATION DISTRICT NO. 2
OF McCRACKEN COUNTY
WHEREAS, Section D of said Agreement provides that
the City certify to the District in writing the new treatment
charge for the upcoming year prior to November 1 of each year;
and
WHEREAS, The City's engineers have certified pursuant
to said contract the City's treatment charge; and 1---�
WHEREAS, due to higher treatment costs, it is
necessary that these rates be increased.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to an agreement entered into on
the 12th day of December 1986, between the City of Paducah
and Sanitation District No. 2 of McCracken County, the City of
Paducah hereby amends its treatment charge U1164
to a rate of $/X%SX .5034 per
1,000 gallons discharged into the City's treatment facilities.
SECTION 2. Sanitation District No. 2 of McCracken
County shall be charged the treatment charge times A 1.4
surcharge, Otl$12210 per 1,000 gallons discharged into the
City's treatment facilities.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and shall become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
